The Germantown Student Education Foundation has been formed for the purpose of enhancing and enriching the educational experience of the students of the Germantown Central School District (GCS) in Germantown, New York. The Foundation is committed to ensuring the highest level of achievement for the students of GCS both in school and in the communities that students reside. A good education requires a broad mix of programs that emphasizes excellence, innovation and creativity. It is the intention of the Foundation to provide strong support for enrichment programs across academic fields that will aide in reaching these goals, and ultimately, develop citizens of good character who have good communication skills and respect for fellow members of the community. The Foundation is committed to supporting GCS as the district develops exciting and challenging programs for students. To that end, the Foundation will support professional development and provide financial support for innovative programs for GCS faculty. Financial assistance from the Foundation will supplement budgetary items provided by GCS.
